That damage doesn't look very impressive to me...
Are you using a victos axe or a sundering axe of fortitude?
For trolls you need an elemental axe of defense/trollslaying
My shocking axe of trollslaying14% does more damage with cyclone than your axe with triplechop =X
Sundering is a PvP mod, don't use it in PvE X.x
EDIT: seriously, try it, buy an axe from collector, 15 while enchanted and put a shocking/fiery/whatever on it, +13 damage increase compared to sundering average damage (estimated, I have the exact data somewhere here but cba to find it)

Sundering is not a PvP mod, it is an almost useless mod. I'm shocked that after the huge volume of threads about how much sundering sucks, people still don't understand.
Since trolls are warrior class, an elemental axe should do the most damage. You might want to see what does more with wild blow just to doublecheck. If a physical axe deals more damage, then go with a vamp mod.

Lol, I've been using Triple Chop for trolls since day or two after release.
I run:
Healing: 2
Strength: 13 (12 + 1)
Axe Mastery: 16 (12 + 3 + 1)
Tactics: 3 (2+1)
1. Sprint
2. Cyclone Axe
3. Bonetti's Defense
4. Triple Chop
5. Defensive Stance
6. Dolyak Signet
7. Endure Pain
8. Live Vicariously
Timed several trips ... do each one in 3 minutes, give or take 5-8 seconds.

for me, with the trolls, its not about dealing the most damage. its about aggroing every single one of them (aside from the bosses and the few with the bosses) and dropping them at the same time.
i use this build:
16tact (helm+sup rune)
13axe (sup rune)
8 heal
rest in str
cyclone, ex strike, WY, bonettis, glads, vig spirit, LV, sprint
customized vamp of def (would test out trollslaying if i could find one) with mals shield
basically i just run until ive aggroed the whole group, pop a rampagers scroll when the first one is close to death, kill that big group, pick up drops, and zone back. i dont bother with the bosses unless theyve got more than 2 trolls around them. its usually a waste of time, as im basically just farming skill points. i can usually do this run in around 2 minutes and thats including the run from droks to the cave.
as for ele vs vamp, even if the ele mod does do better damage, in the large groups i aggro, the vamp mod definately helps with keeping my health near full at all times even with 2 superior runes.

I'm not sure why this is faster (I don't have factions so no triple chop) but...
triple chop maxed does +34 dmg and hits every troll but has a recharge time of 10.
so in 10 seconds, you hit every troll for base damage + 42 damage + mods but...
gladiators defense is for 11 seconds (16 tactics) at 37 damage a hit and most trolls usually hit it more than once...
Triple Chop
- chance of being disrupted leaving you without the extra block
- less damage overall
- you rely on bonnetis more, which means a higher risk of failing if you badly time it ^^

It's partially an issue of attribute distribution. Without the need for high Tactics (12 or higher), you can maximize Axe Mastery, and can also use high strength for some added damage. With max Axe Mastery, your constant Cyclone + Triple Chopping has much higher damage. But yes, using a 3-second duration of Bonetti's Defense does mean you need a quick finger. And even if Triple Chop IS disrupted, you have Cyclone Axe to fall back upon, which is perfectly sufficent.

This build rocks!! Just playing around - Triple chop was easy nuff to cap (a bit of work to find and get to the boss!). lvling myself like crazy to get nuff points to buy/cap skills!!
On a note on the axes, I tried it with a Victos 20/20 and switched to a desert collector battle axe (15% enchanted) and added a fiery and +26HP upgrade - cost me about 2K for everything!! And the results as mentioned were more dmg hits!
Thanks guys
